This was my favourite derelict church I got the chance to explore of the trip, and one of my favourite churches ever. It's in such a beautifully perfect state of decay with little to no vandalism and everything peeling and falling apart that I was instantly enthralled by it.
From the outside, architecturally, it is beautiful too. A large skylight sits atop the pointed roof and a tower on one side holds a wonderful staircase. I was on the second of my big explore weekenders now, and the sun was just beginning to set as we pulled up outside the church. I knew whatever usable light I had would be extremely short lived, and after ten or so minutes inside it was almost pitch black so I had to resort to long exposure and light painting, being careful not to shine the torch light out the open windows onto the street of course.
It's a stunning church, highly unusual in layout and design and a real tucked away beauty quietly falling apart in a small town.
Not many photos as it was only a small-ish church and very dark as you can expect, but hopefully I'll get the chance to go and re-shoot it in daylight next time.
Thanks for looking
