Wales is absolutely littered with abandoned chapels of all shapes and sizes. Some big and grand and imposing, others tiny rural chapels that would have served a very small congregation. This one falls into the latter bracket, but it's one of my absolute favourites considering I found it by accident on the way to somewhere else.

I'm by no means the first to photograph this one as it is a known about chapel but I hadn't put it on my map as I had no idea where it was - so imagine my joy when the abandoned building we sped past but then agreed to go back and check out turned out to be the one! It's beautifully intact, with only one pew missing out of it's entire interior, and with no graffiti or idiot damage it's a gorgeous little time capsule. At the rear is a separate equally tiny two storey extension, which may have once been a little school room but now is only home to mud and three skeletal sheep.

That's another nice chapel. Picture three is a stunning shot, photographing against the sun can be a no-no but yours turned out a winner. A shame about the pump organ, could be saved. Looks like the same one in Mickeymutts's post.

Seems the piano moves about last year dead in centre of the place, find any skulls on the book in the centre or bird wings? Place had loads last year :) good shots an update

Cracking mate :) Only seen this once before and it's nice to see it again. Looks a lovely place.
