I had totally forgotten I'd had this lovely little church pinned for a while now, and the perfect time to do it came up during my Westcountry escapades.
This little church is a beautiful example of almost complete natural decay. It's situated off a main road but is almost unnoticeable as it's hidden up the top of a steep bank so you would never know it was there - and indeed I missed it completely on the first drive past even though I had the coordinates plumbed in!
I'm just glad it was still accessible as it was a high point of the trip for not just myself but I think both Landie Man and our American explorer friend. Coming from a country renowned for it's huge derelict churches, seeing a small rural abandoned church over here was pretty cool for him I think. The one thing that surprised me is that it looks tiny from the outside but actually is fairly spacious on the inside.
We poked our nose into the old School building too but as the floor has almost completely given way decided against trying to enter!
Thanks for looking
