My latest trip proved just how much dumb luck is required when exploring sometimes. Out of the many places on the list to be seen, only this one worked out successfully. Having found it sealed a couple of years back when I last attempted it, it was nice to find it open and have a nose around.

Although this church is pretty battered through years of decay, a small fire and a very bad roof it is still a beautiful space and surprisingly free of graffiti for the most part. It's a sad example of how a listed building status sometimes works against places like these as it has sat abandoned since 1995, with a further use unable to be found for it in stark contrast to the former rectory/school next door which was converted into apartments long ago.
