Found this on the way to maesteg. It is situated next to Afan Argoed park and is about to be demolished. The inside is completly stripped of the floor and rafters leaving an empty shell full of rubbish. At some time it was converted into a cafe, after the chapel shut in about 1998. In the back room are all the original leaded windows that have been stored there, but they have all been smashed and are scattered about whats left of the room. For some reason there are big speaker boxes laying about inside, either they were used in the cafe or they are for the sound system of the chapel that were left behind.

Good find. Like the engraved stones. Its weird how that gas metre is hanging from the ceiling, looks like it could drop any minute .

Its not fixed to anything, it looks like someone has thrown it up in the air and it has snagged on the wiring for the light!!

Cool brickwork and I like the engraved stones too. That built-up brick thingy in the centre of the room looks quite bizarre...almost like an optical illusion. Nice find. :)
