Lovely pictures, well done!

However, the name of the chapel is The Lady Chapel not Ladys chapel.

Interesting building, a lot of different styles. What is that abortion in the nave? it's awful.

Sorry but I cannot agree with your comments on Epstein's Christ in Majesty. Following bomb (landmine) damage, George Pace was the architect responsible for the rebuilding of this very badly war damaged Cathedral. His magnificent reinforced concrete arch surmounted with Epstein's work is a worthy remembrance of the destruction and rebirth of this beautiful building. You really need to walk through the Cathedral to fully appreciate the architecture an how Epstein's work integrates with the whole interior; however, Jonas's excellent photographs really do justice to the building for those who cannot visit what is one of the oldest Christian sites in Britain

what a beautiful building, nice one Jonas, you must be really pleased with the results, there well composed shots, Id like to research more of the history of the bombing

Fabulous photos and an extremely good tour. It's magnificent! :)
I'm not quite sure how I feel about the central Epstein, tbh...I guess, as Dirus said, you need to actually walk around it to see how it sits within the space...but I did notice on the wall another figure which looks very Epstein. Very similar to the figure of the Archangel Michael battling the serpent on the outside wall of Coventry Cathedral. I have a pic of it somewhere...maybe! Unless it's lost! ;)

The nave looks amazing I've never seen this in any other church or Cathedral. It looks a bit brutal bust veery photogenic.
