Came across this lovely big house on our way home from exploring Howstrake Holiday Camp, so was a nice surprise. I was quite surprised to find it empty, it's in a very wealthy area, surrounded by lots of very posh houses.

Wow, I bet that place has seen a few wife swapping parties! Interesting place, well done

I'm surprised no-one's done that up to sell on to a tax exile, might need some work but it looks doable.

When I first seen it from the front, I thought it was still lived in and just had two boarded broken windows, but when I went round the back I realised it'd obviously been empty a long time. It's a shame it's got so bad, they'll probably tear it down, cheaper than doing it up, that always seems to be the way here.

Was also surprised it wasn't all chaved up inside considering how easy access was.

It looks like a lovely house, so sad to see it abandoned, especially to the great sea view and large size of the house.

- but the above photos gives the impression of the plants slowing creeping in like a tide - quite eerie to me anyway.
