Hi i am a newbee on this forum.

I have always been interested in abandoned houses and architecture, but.... never actually picked up the courage to enter or have a look at any of the places i know about until a few months ago when i was driving past "Hill House" in Willingale, Essex on the way to my elderly Grandmothers house in August.

The house itself seemed semi abandoned, most of the windows were boarded up having i assume been broken. The upstairs windows were still open, which i can only think would be to air the house to stop damp and condesation etc.

The garden housed a small chicken run, but.... it was not clear if it was within the garden of this property or the one next door, anybody who has seen the house themselves will understand what i am talking about.

The property itself seemed well kept, the garden grass was recently mown and it looked like all damage, ie: broken windows etc were patahced up with odd bits of wood, metal sheeting and the like.

All in all it was a great house to go and see, it took us about 20 miunutes to have a detailed look around and take some photographs - we did not try to gain entry as the doors were all locked, although i did manage to get some shots of the inside through a window which suprisingly was still un broken.

Hope you enjoy the photos and thanks for taking your time to look at them.

Regards.

Daniel

It's not difficult to post the pictures. There's some straightforward instructions here [ame]http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=6744[/ame]

I'm sure that you can do similar using imageshack.

What a totally delightful house. Love the little porch/conservatory. Really nice find.
Welcome to DP, Danny. :)

Yes, it certainly was a very nice house.

Have tried to sort out the picture uploads, im not very technical... please excuse.

I will get my brother who knows a lot more about computers than myself to show me!
