Was up seeing my Dad on Sunday with it being Fathers Day, and went to take a look at this place. I first found it one night last summer whilst out for a very wet late night walk, but it being almost pitch black, I decided to go back another time, and have only just got round to it.
It would seem that the family who once owned the farm left in a hurry. Newspapers and letters date back to the early 80's, and it seems to have been empty ever since.

The house in the dark and rain as I found it, snapped on my phone a year ago:

And now for the recent ones...

My favourite kinda place. And looking a lot like it's just starting out on its road to ruin. Mebbes you could pop back once a year and record the decay timeline? ;)

Thaanks Foxy :)

That's a brilliant find. It's almost as though they just walked out.

Yeah everything seems to still be in place, even the wardrobes are filled with clothes. My family live in the area, but don't remember anyone being there in a long time. I think perhaps it was owned by an elderly person and when they died, it was just left like that.

Good idea! Think I might have to do that :)
