Hey all, so the other day decided to check out somewhere new for our team, so i met with Stalionduck and BE06 and we made our way with the herts crew to Twyford Abbey in Park Royal/ Ealing.

This post is more an update to novembers post, but we have got some great snaps.

The building is now in its final stage, parts have been bought down in the central courtyard and even the floors are giving way, as we found out while in a room and then we started to fall and as we got out you could see the remainder of the floor fall to the basement.

I would not recomend anyone to go to the abbey now, its in its final parts, and very very dangerous. There is also alot of movement on sight, from builders, rooms set up with sleeping bags and tv's etc. Signs for guard dogs but we found none, well they didnt find us.

Enjoy the last of Twyford Abbey, long shall it be remembered.

Thanks for that. I've been reading the other threads about this site since my last post and am now properly informed.

Do you have any decent daytime photos? Your night time photos don't show the place in a good light.
I don't think bumbling about a building that might have security taking photos with the flash is too wise, though it's exactly the kind of thing I did when I first started.

shadowforest,
Listen my first comment was maybe a bit harsh,Sorry mucka.
Re read it & is a bit cutting :p
Its good to see you getting out there mate and getting your explores up.

Bumbling around that building in the daytime is dangerous enough, but at night it must verge on suicidal:lol:

yeah its the worst building we have been in too, dont think i would go back when whole rooms just fall into the basement.

We always visit sites during the night, somehow it adds that adrenline to it. Plus is usually quieter on the sights and the likeliness of security seems to be less, not sure what i mean by that lol.

Sadly the camera i took that night was on the camcorder not my big slr. Otherwise night shots would have been great. Its shocking this place. The newer part of the building is pretty intact, the older part is terrible, stairs arnt standing, rooms hanging into the basement, the second floor not even stable.
