Briefly history, it was founded in 1902 and closed in 1996. In 1998 a priest was convicted of abusing 18 children there between 1957 and 1965.

Tried to have a look at this place a couple of years ago but it was inaccessible at the time. Really nice work! Awesome shots :)
 
You've got some amazingly clear images here. This is superb. You should be well chuffed, thanks for sharing.
 
this place was one of my favourite explores when i lived down south. its great to see the place again and your photo's are excellent by the way.
 
Never seen any photos from that extra block before,

I was gutted that It had been quite badly tagged particularly the dorms, I gather when it first cropped up in 2005 it was quite unique.

Don't seem to be many derelict orphanages about these days. Not sure I can thing of another apart form st Eds?

This was inside St Philomena's, one of the other Father Hudson society buildings I believe.

Good set.
