Just a finish off post. This is part two, the original post for the main house is here...

This is a large brick and wood building outside the main house, but probably bigger than the house I currently live in :(

Again, some strange bits in here...

These are old style camera cases, there were loads more on the floor. But no sign of cameras?

Ok, these are headlight size and are red, I've only seen such things on Grave Digger monster truck!

I was in two minds whether or not to look inside, incase I found the previous owner!!!

...But who'd have guessed I'd find half an oar!!!
(and it really did stink in there)

Ok, I'm on my own and there's another really unsafe looking ladder leading up to an even worse looking ceiling. So up I go

There were other smaller sheds and out-houses but I'll need to wait for the undergrowth to die down a bit before I look in those.

As always, thanks for looking.

My grandad used to have some of those red lights in his green house I think they were 12v heat lamps just adapted from old car lights and run off a car battery

Great info. I love this about DP - always learning something new :)

What a find! Nice one. I can smell it eminating from my screen!
I bet it was way darker than the pics make it seem?

The garage looks just as interesting as the house. Can't wait to see what's in the sheds!

I have seen similar red lamps used in landrovers when lamping for rabbits.
They are adapted headlights so run off the electrics of the landie with no fancy wiring or need for more expensive lamps.

Looking at the acros holding the roof up you did well to survive!

You are party correct - These are no conversions, just oem weaning heaters from the 1950's. Originally marketed for intensive pig breeding, they soon found use with dog breeders - many an extra large litter has been successfully reared with one or two of these.

Wow, so much land and with so many outbuildings, how could no body claim this or leave it all to rot?
It's so sad.

That freezer would have had me throwing up, braver person than I!
Beautiful pics again.
