Yes, i know it has been done a few times now, but it really is a fascinating place. Anyone who has been will know that the place just keeps going. Every time you think you have seen it all, another little hut appears in the trees, full of stuff.

Although the exact history is unclear, there are a lot of dentistry related items in many of the rooms, which could lead to one assuming that the previous occupant may have been a dentist. However, walking around all the rooms and out-houses, you find all manner of things that seem to have been gathered in bulk, piles of carpentry and building magazines, lots of photographic and camera references (including the remains of what i believe was a dark room) and lots of old newspapers and magazines and paperwork that date back to the 1950's! There are also piles of stuff that is just random, and seems to have just been collected with no real purpose. Outside, a selection of car parts lay scattered around the grounds. It makes me wonder if all the stuff here has accumulated over the stay of several occupants. it certainly seems like it, or that the occupant was just a hobbyist of many outlets.

These images are compiled from several visits, one of which was at 2am, to get the night shot. That was interesting to say the least. Particularly after speaking to UE-OMJ who had said that the torch had been playing up on the last visit, only to find out that at 2am, my camera decided to stop working for a period of time, and then was fine again, weird!

I visited the site with UE-OMJ who made a great tour guide (and great company), pointing out parts that i had totally missed on my solo visits. It is thanks to UE-OMJ that so many teeth and other items were discovered lying around.

Anyway, as it is a well-documented location, i don't want to repeat to much of what has previously been posted, so here goes...

huge thanks to UE-OMJ for finding, and digging these teeth out of the rubble. without UE-OMJ, this shot would not have been possible...

loads of empty camera cases. Sadly seems as though someone has taken all the cameras from inside them.

more photographic items, including chemicals from the suspected dark room...

one of the previous occupants shots, again thanks to UE-OMJ for finding this, and finding a very clever way of showing enough detail on the negative to photograph!, without this genius idea, this image wouldn't be here...
