Found this after revisiting the neighbouring Undershaw Hotel. Both of these are casualties of the uncertainty in the area surrounding works of the A3 bypass. No interior access to the hotel but noticed this. Its a complete 2 1/2 storey house, apparently dating from the early 1900s by the style. Was extensively refurbed in the 1990s , judging by the style of decoration. Interior is in good condition. The owners left some stuff behind even. At this stage I do not know if its scheuled for demolition or mothballing by a developer pending further development within the externsive gardens of the site.

He he it looks like one of those show home thingys-very nice :)

What a lovely little house, bloody roads destroying things that’s a nice cottage thing my Nan would love it. I like the kitchen and those bay windows are nice. This is just another example of wasteful and disrespectful behaviour on behalf of the government.:(

Had another look at the weekend. Some upstairs windows are broken, some of the metal framed windows downstaird shave been removed and covered over with boards. Does not look particularly accessible at the mo.

New lead tho, also as a result of the A3 works there's another abandoned house located directly opposite the Hazel Grove turning (about 1 mile south of hindhead on the west side of the road.

Lovely pics.....like the others say hope it's not pulled down....its far to nice to be demolished:)
