Visited this place with Chimper after a failed attempt at a site up north.

We arrived about midday and someone another member was just leaving. It's quite an eerie place due to the family history left inside that time has forgotten. The house is pretty trashed the ceilings and floors have many holes exposing it to all the elements which is speeding up its deterioration.

It's difficult to find any real history about the Hall or the family other than it's a grade 2 listed building that has been put on the market a couple of times with no real interest.

As we was leaving a black cat casually strolled past us with a dead rat in its mouth. Rather unusual way to end the visit.

Thanks for looking

What I find so interesting is why is the house so full of family memories and why is a property just left to get in such a state? Does this person have no family? Does anyone actually own the property?

It's very sad that all the families history is just left to go to ruin. It's a though they just locked up one day and never returned. I'm not too sure about who owns it or the family as there is really no history i can find about it or them other than what i put at the top.

Great place to see but quite eerie too.
