a.k.a “The Sewing House”. But as all of the sewing machines have been stolen (since the sites location was named on a certain forum) I’m renaming it “The TV house as there were plenty of old TV’s kicking about.

Visited around sunrise it was still pretty dark in there. The power was on and the lights did work, but I didn’t want to draw attention to the house - a recent explorer had a screwdriver sticking out their tyre last time they got spotted going in.

A lot’s gone ‘missing’ since the site was named, which is a real shame. There are no impressive rooms, but lots of nice details, so there’s a lot of detail shots:

Mag from 1971, what struck me about it was the biro line following the title. I remember doing that as a kid too.

Ah the days when men were men, and everything was manufactured from asbestos:

Cheers for reading, more photos on my site.

A lovely set of pictures. Sad to hear of the thefts from the house, also I haven't heard of people's cars being attacked before, another thing to bear in mind!

Nice photos, it is such a shame what has happened to this place. When I was there after xmas with antonymes it was like Piccadilly Circus, at least 10 people inside as the location had gotten out. I know the locals were getting furious as one burst in as I was taking the stairs/jacket shot [scared the life out of me] as someone had blocked his car in and he was going crazy [not surprising really] Have to say most of the stuff does seem to be there from when we went except maybe the sewing machines and one item seems to have appeared which I am sure wasn't there when we visited, the vintage Bush radio in the last pic! Did I really miss this beauty??? Maybe someone swapped it for a sewing machine? Cheers for sharing

You,ve a great job of photography here,I dont know why someone took the time and effort to hump the lumps of sewing machines away they not worth any real cash maybe a drink if they were lucky must be f...ing mad.The last pic looks like an asbestos brake lining.
