The Time Capsule cottage - June/July 2014

This place is extremely peculiar with the original building dating back to 1644, the building has had some changes over the years but still has a few of its original 1600s features like 8" wide oak floor boards and a few original windows. It started life as a residential property but seems to be used as storage later on in life. I have known about the place for a few years now and can count the people who know about it on 1 hand with fingers spare! Some of the stuff in here takes you back in time the wallpapers 50s at the latest fire place same era too there is an original berkell meat slice from 1926 which is the main reason i haven't told many about it as i know if gets out the place will be emptied and trashed which will take the whole point out of the name and the fun out of the explore i wont say much more that that as i don't want to give anything away and also please don't ask where it is or you will just get a stupid answer lol Also if anyone recognises the place please keep it to yourselves thanks

Nice place.

Great place and I can understand why you want to protect it. My mother cut the end of her thumb( up to the joint) off on a meat slicer like that when she was just 16 years old and worked in a grocers in London. She had to accept it although these days there would no doubt be a claim for thousands!

Id trust you mate and yea too many valuables still in there i go quite frequently and its good to see nearly no one goes here its always how i left it every time i go back
