After a trip to another urban exploration we came across what we thought was an abandoned house. We had a wander around the perimeter and found our way in. We noticed it was a very large house with a good view over redhill. It was obvious it had been left for a while as the garden was incredibly overgrown and you could see the ceilings were collapsing. Once inside we made our way around and realized quite how big it was. But we noticed that it cant have been a house due to the multiple fire extinguishers, fire alarms and fir door signs. We then came across a sign saying it was part of the NHS trust. When i got home i looked it up using an address found on one of the fire plan signs. It turns out what we thought was a house was a Residential Care Home. That is all ive been able to find out about it so any other information is welcomed. We explored the house from top to bottom (literally due to the fact there was a room in the attic and a basement. Anyway here are the photos from it hope you enjoy! I highly recommend the place if your into the whole residential section of urbex.
