The Machinist's House - March 2015

Found and named by brickworx, I'm told (thanks stu8fish for your info), The Machinist's House was obviously once used for some sort of printing, or at least to house a collection of the machinery for such!

The place is not well hidden and I can see from reports that it has become popular so it's hardly surprising that we found it early one morning in a bit of a sorry state. Lots that I have seen from others' reports is no longer there and many items have found their way from inside to outside. My shots are of the nice details I found - we were there super early so the light wasn't the best for my out-of-practise photography skills on the machinery itself!

It was a nice way to start a day out and I appreciated the opportunity to see it. Visited with CovertUrbex.

Great report, bit annoyed by the theft and vandalism this place has suffered since going public on urbex forums. Many explorers treat places with respect for those that have lived there but others couldn't care less and just see it as a place to grab some pictures and trash. Especially annoying as I live in the village this place is located in!

Great post, really looking to get up there at some point, can anybody help me with location?
