Whilst touring the surrounding buildings of Papworth Trust I came across the old Rehabilitation House:

After gathering a little research I can figure out that the rehab house was used as a step between cardiac patients, for example, leaving the local hospital and going back home.

Looking on Google Street View, it looks as though this house may have still been in use in 2010 even though the hospital area to the side of it was knocked down sometime between 2008 and 2010. This hospital area looks as though it would have been a great explore back in the day, but the whole area is now just a fenced in field.

Inside the house looked as though vandals had not yet had a visit - despite the ease of access to the building:

I don't know why but I had an urge to turn this switch off:

The house catered for people using wheelchairs and featured a wheelchair lift in the front hallway:

(the view from upstairs):

All of the rooms had large wetroom en suites:

The garage even still had the old Ferrari's inside:

Thanks for looking,

Great report there looks really interesting I like it;)

Excellent report. That house just needs a little tidy-up and its ready to move in. Stick a V6 engine on the back of one of those "Ferraris" and you've got a good runabout.
