    Post Shell House

I came across this house next to a Shell fuel station. Inside it looks like it hasn't been used for years, but has been used to store numerous items from the station itself.

There were cobwebs all over the house including in the hallways so it was fairly obvious no one had walked through the house in quite some time.

The house has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and three reception rooms, a kitchen and a couple of smaller cupboard rooms.

Due to the amount of boarding the almost whole house was pitch black inside.

    Thanks for looking,

    Rubex

Nicely recorded. Terrible wallpaper in the kitchen and toilet. But what a load of junk inside. Looks dangerous.

I stop there for fuel quite regularly. Not far from the Little Chef!

BTW, not sure if you will be able to get in, but there is a large empty warehouse and offices a little further down - next to a pub. We moved out about a year ago and it has yet to be redeveloped. Well worth mooch around ;)

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
