I visited this house a few months back with new member Gullible Dave, fighting our way through a jungle of bramble. Thanks given to Stu8fish for site info.

It is a very sad little house and I've managed to dig out quite a bit of background information on the place that partly explains the delay in the post. All the belongings in the house relate to the last permanent person who lived there, Sidney, whose ashes lay in a tub in the kitchen. Sidney died in 1996 and although there is evidence of a wife, I presume she died before him. Their son Malcolm moved to Horsham and if he's still alive, why the ashes still in the kitchen?
Sidney loved music due to loads of vinyl LP's lying around, he smoked pipes galore, won awards for flower arranging and liked photography.
The house became the named residence of another couple between 2001 and 2003 who got planning permission to have a room built in the roof space of the bungalow, hence all the tiles and holes in roof. The couple have links to a nearby grand place so I won't name them. The husband died I presume before building work was complete as the lady moved to a flat in the nearby grand place. There is no evidence that they ever lived in the bungalow as everything inside seems to be Sidney's. The bungalow is on the same 4.8 acre site as another house and they were sold together as a package for £1.8 million 2 years ago. The bungalow remains untouched.

On with the photos.
