To the best of my knowledge the previous owner of this house left in around 2009, although internally the house wasn't modernised anytime before it was left. There wasn't much to be seen inside but there were a few interesting bits and bobs. I found the outbuildings here to be quite amazing!

I presume this may have been the old Vicar's house but there was nothing to indicate that other than the neighbouring church.

Thanks for looking

Nice one Rubex, it seems every time I login I see a new report from you! keep em coming they're great as usual :D

Looks like this house hasn't seen much modernization since at least the 1970s , the wallpaper is very 70s era style the fireplaces are from the 1950s or 1960s used to live in a house that had these tiled fireplaces perhaps not 'in ' now but they are easy to maintain. Nice photos anymore of the outside just curious to see the style of the building?

Thank you for all that information :) although I love finding buildings with features like this and old bits and bobs I find dating them very difficult as although I am very interested in it, I am not very knowledgeable on the history of these sorts of things.

I have more photos in this album which does include photos of the front of the house and outbuildings. There's also a lot more photos of various other bits including a car that was in the garage!

Nice one rubex..nice report and you must be the most active explorer on here.

I think this girl has itchy feet. Another nice posting from you. The house looks okay just a tidy up. But don't like the 70s style wallpaper and do I see an en-suite toilet in the bedroom?

Thanks for the link, the house looks Victorian with possible 1950s windows. The crossbar design was popular in the 1930s and later in the 1950s as well. The house is a real mish mash of design but it makes the house more interesting.
