I had seen a few external pics of this place from a couple of people.but none had gone inside.so I was off to do some shopping and thought I would give it a quick look.out of all the places I have been in,I have never been in one so dangerous and crammed.the ceiling was falling in.bits crumbling over me when I brushed it.i managed to get in several of the rooms.i tried upstairs but it had all collapsed on the stairs themselves.i could not use a tripod in here so just took a few shots and got out..the place was apparently the local post office in the 70's and when that shut it was used as a residential property.there was a fire here over ten years ago.the lady was in the house.luckily the neighbour rescued her.and she is now still alive in an old peoples home.

Another gem of a place, I bet there's all sorts under all that stuff. You mentioned you didn't use the tripod, do you always use the tripod when ever posable ? thanks for another great post

Cute little place Mikeymutt. I agree with Jon6D; I bet there's loads hidden underneath. I don't think I've ever seen you take a picture without your tripod lol just like you've never seen me use one :)

You beat me too it Mikeymutt, I photographed this a couple of weeks ago but did not go right in as the ceiling looked very unsafe. The first thing I came across was a book entitled Jack The Ripper, that was a good shot and the little man in the window and packet of Camel Cigarettes. I had been trying to find out the history on the house but have not been able to find anything, looks like you have been more successful. Nice set of photographs well done. I am still trying to figure out how to post the pictures

Thank you..there is tons of stuff hidden under here.I rooted around for ages.it's worth going in just for the experience alone..and my tripod is virtually attached to me ☺
