A friend of mine gave me a tip off about this house and it was one i have heard of in the past so i just had to go and see it for myself it wasnt really a far drive so we decided to go one sunday. As we walked into the garden all we could see was stuff everyone bits of scrap doors& rubbsih and dumper trucks about 6 of them hence the name as we stepped inside the kitchen was trashed same as most of the rooms down stairs it was the up stairs and the attic that were the best part of this house full of personal items there was one think i was trying to find in this house that must have gone missing which were photos of the former owners dumpertrucks but as i said i couldnt find them but its fair to say i loved documenting this place.O before i forget as we were leaving my mate said put the kettle on as a joke i put the kettle on messing about i switch the button and the kettle started boiling lol so this place still has eletric :)

Really enjoyed that one sureshank - what a place & what a find! Loved the old photos in the frames, plus the painting of Boris Karloff / Frankenstein holding a birthday cake is both bizarre and superb!!! Thanks

Superb post. There's a lot of nice stuff in there. I like the old-fashioned trunks. But we see a Get Well Card and a few pills, maybe a sad departure for the owner.

Some cracking photos and a smashing find - the get well soon picture with pills on the side and a clock that stopped a lonng time ago seems very poinant and have to say left a lump in my throat.
