First off - all credit goes to Gromr123 for this one. Thanks for showing myself and H this place!

This was our first stop, and sadly our only successful one. At stop number 2 we triggered a PIR and the alarm went off so we made a swift exit - we could see the security guard sitting with his back to us a few hundred meters away and he didn't move an inch when the alarm sounded not once but twice! Still, better to be safe than sorry. Number 3 had been turned into a car park. And number 4... well we got to about 100 meters away and gave up because of the nettles and brambles. Despite Gromr123's best efforts and thrashing away at the jungle like growth with his tripod it just wasn't going to happen today. But we will return to that one some day soon better equipped and with more time on our hands, and my brewery gloves on my hands so we tackle that mess. Still a nice morning out, and H was happy because she got to meet 4 greyhounds!

Unfortunately there is no history for this place. The house had been trashed by the lower end of the IQ spectrum and has suffered badly over the years so we couldn't find any clues as to how long it had been empty for. Upon entering it seemed like the usual pile of shit that has been left to rot, but there can always be a few surprises lurking. What looked like a workshop or an old stable was home to something I really did not expect to see.

Anyway, on with the pics starting with the dilapidated house:

And finally the large outbuilding...

I wasn't expecting there to be a swimming pool in there!

Thanks for looking!

Cheers Mikey. Some people like industrial, some people like time capsules with old objects that haven't touched for years, but I really like places like this - no clue whatsoever to its previous life, and decay in all its gory glory.!

Nice one! Those pictures came out lovely. Hopefully next time with more prep we can defeat those pesky brambles. Mind you with all those brambles I bet no-ones been there for a very long time.

Cheers mate! Next time we shall succeed! :D
