Default Abandoned House in Fingeringhoe (At Night) Part 1

    Good morning Ladies & Gents,

Here is the 1st instalment of a 3 venue night spanning over 2 county's, we start off at the smallest place known as the house near Mersea island which ironically is closer to Colchester and firmly on dry land. We found it with relative ease as it is the only house that was non illuminated and found a lovely little spot on a farmers field for parking. We walked down the side of the field and there she was, all that stood in-front of us was a 2ft high wire fence and a crawl through the under growth. We arrived and this is how we found her.

We then had a look downstairs

After this we had to go upstairs, the large holes in the floor did not provide us with confidence as modelled.

Upstairs was quite nice with field views and spacious rooms.

By this time, the floors were creaking and the wind was blowing, My friend had a bead of sweat running across his forehead and I suggested he enjoyed a nice bath to relax........He Declined.

Thanks for looking and hope you read the next thread I am currently typing on our second venue!

If you could put a space between each photo that would be good. :) Thanks for posting.

    Quality innuendo.

Always a shame to see shelter go to waste, but congrats for getting it photographed in the dark and not falling through the floor.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
