Visited this house a couple of times.but never really done a report on it.so with a few hours spare I went back through the trees to where this is hidden.not a lot inside.its been abandoned quite a few years now.the roof is slowly coming.its a fifties or sixties style house and just a two up,two down.with a garage out back.

Nicely done. Not a bad looking house, worth a renovation. The fireplaces are nice and the Singer sewing machine lid is present but the rest of it is missing. I think someone has tried to remove the wardrobe out of the bedroom but gave up.

The door furniture, style of interior doors, fasteners on the 'Crittall' widows, light switches and the tiled fireplaces all point to this place being pre WW2 and of mid to late '30's origin - if post war, then very early '50's. The downstairs has been fitted with a 13 amp ring main in at least one room, although there does seem to be a brown 15 amp on the side of the chimney breast in photograph 6. However in 30's to 50's build properties one expects to find a miss match of electrical socket types - as TV became more popular many houses were fitted with 13 amp ring mains on the ground floor, if sockets were lacking in the original build.

Lovely photos Mikey. I did do this one last May - still got all my reports to do from that trip. Loved every one of them thank you.

The sofa and the fireplace is my favourite! These are really good pictures!

I recognise that sofa with the "tumbleweed" on, I recognise that sofa with the tumbleweed on from a post a couple years back, I can't believe someone hasn't claimed the house, it looks huge!!
