    Default Threadbare house..Norfolk.

Nothing too exciting here.just a pair of houses one was sealed the other open.it was literally just one bedroom and a living room and kitchen.the toilet and shower room were seperate.out back was lots of sheds.work had been started on the house but stopped, maybe due to financial restraints.there was no electric on but the water ran..the smoke alarm kept beeping as the battery was dying.and the scales still worked.dont know how long closure has been.the large porch way out back was green and damp.and part of the stairs missin.

I like to go where others fear to tread.

That's a nice cosy looking cottage. Ideal for one person.

In my experience a squeaking smoke alarm can go on for years. I've known one to go on for 2 years.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
