Default Ruined House with Some Various Sheds - Jan 19

This was the other abandonment we visited on the day as my recent report.

Ruined House with Some Various Sheds

The house at this site was one of the worst we'd seen. Completely vandalised and not worth any photos, so we didn't take any. On the other hand, the preserved Morris cars and tractor was a nice find, very strange how they have been left to be consistently robbed from by locals.

    The shots I preferred

A pretty concise site but had some good features. Here you can find the link to our documentary styled video of this site. We cover the buildings' present and future through cinematics and narration:

Hope someone rescues that Fordson SD, lovely little tractor we still use the one (of the two) my grandfather bought brand new in 1963 just 6 months before my father was born.

Some retro goodness there! Surprised to see some fairly decent British vehicles - very collectible now.

Edit: I'm going to call this forum Scrapyard Places from now on..
    Full of meaty goodness.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
