Well after my disaster with my camera card corrupting on Saturday with a few of the guys, I will leave them to post Saturday's images from Sheffield. I went back today just so my weekend was not wasted.

Firstly I found that only a few months ago this small block of flats was in use, and I just noticed the litterly overnight its empty and boarded up.

And then finally a quick trip over to Park Hill, the legal side of the fence :)

Most of these I guess will already have been seen on other posts, but was exciting going, and a bit unnerving on my own - I cant believe how many people do still live here!

Hi Mate

Nope, these are a tiny block thats near the Police Station in the St Vincents 1/4. Not sure on the rules on saying where it actually is :)....I see these every day at work then today I noticed the steel boards on the ground floor, and wandered in a looky what I found :)

I guess that you didn't use your dodgy memory card for these :) Are them flats the ones near Hillsborough?

Nice pictures mate, like the 'remade in sheffield' one, spotted a few potential sites to look at round sheff. city centre when i was trying to find the foundry indoor climbing centre recently, there seems to be a good few sites up that way worth a look, and a good few tower cranes as well!:)

Cheers, yep I thought the one with the sign looked kinda cool. Appologies for the B&W images, I kinda make a habit of doing black and white for things like this, just to be entirely different from my mainstream work.

I had quite a drive around Sheffield today, so did find some good potential places for later on....amazing once you get into this you start to "notice" things that where not visable before

Cheers, guys for the good comments on my first trip out. Whilst I do think the colour ones look great, I think B&W add something to this sort of photography, it kinda makes you focus on the subject.

I was in two minds, but obviously Park Hill has been done so many times and I had not seen any B&W ones of it yet, so they work well.

And yes the first flats do kinda look like a prison, again if this had been in colour it would probably had lost a bit of its impact....I am going back there tomorrow as its near my work, so will try to get some more...its a very very small block, I estimate about 30 flats maybe.

Hasn't that first block of flats just been in Total Emergency on ITV1? I'm sure it's that place the cops break into to arrest some guy for drugs, who then tries to climb out of the window like 6 stories up lol. Great pics btw.
