Amazing small mansion in Ceredigion.
Abandoned as a shell after the war after everything of value had been stripped out of the place by an unscrupulous owner. The present owner did have the sense to cap many of the walls with concrete, and this as seriously slowed down the demise of the place, though he also demolished most of the central block as the walls had started to bow dangerously.
The left wing is being done up as a home for his daughter, and to be fair they’re doing a really good job of it, matching it to the original as much as possible. Apparently they had to battle the planners to be allowed to do it.
The location is amazing looking out over a grand vista of rural Ceredigion.
