Cottage Nr Kirkcaldy Nov08

On a trip into Kirkcaldy a few months ago I drove past a derelict cottage in a field next to a big farm, so as part of my jaunt last week I decide to call in! :lol:

The cottage is a typical L shape formation which is now a ruinous shell with trees growing through it!

The rear wall of the property, behind which is a huge dip!

And finally, behind the house there is a stream which has this delightful waterfall... one of Scotlands hidden treasures :)

Wow. I bet that ruin could tell a few stories. Narrow doors to keep the cold out. Any surrounding materials to build the walls. Great stuff this. :)
