Puddledub is officially the best place name ever!!

Just down the lane is another ruinous cottage but nature is winning the battle with this one!

Puddledub

You certainly got a nose for finding new sites sausage,at first glance i thought it was constructed with breeze blocks (my eyesight) it looks ancient, any history ??

I love these wee cottages. Theres loads round Northumberland like that. Puddledub...very good, however I contest it with my fave Northumbrian town of "Dirt Pot" near Allendale:mrgreen:

I know it's a real place because I've passed through it but Puddledub does sound like a made up name, especially since dub is a Scots word meaning puddle.

My mistake, well i did mention my eyesight ,better add dementia to the list,i meant to credit escortmad79 and not sausage,Doh
