Cottage Nr Milnathort Dec 08 (Pic heavy!)

Spotted this cottage on Geograph so decided to go & see it & I wasn't disappointed!

From the front it doesn't look too derelict really, a little overgrown but nothing to suggest what was to await me!

Roof tiles of a lean-to type shed

This was the interior floor! Floorboards were like quicksand with the underlying carpet ontop of rotten floorboards!

The back of the toilet system is in that lot!

Don't know what this is, think it maybe the remains of a cooker:

This I think was the utility area, as there was a toilet room to one side

Just to the side of the roofless section here is a small burn

Hidden by undergrowth

Which further down towards Milnathort turns into this

The style of it looks quite grand but on a very tiny scale. It's great.

Fantastic! What I wouldn't give for a wee cottage by a burn, sipping a nice chilled Guinness while I cool my tootsies in the water.

Oh, hang on. This is Scotland we're talking about.
