This abandoned set of villas was about 2 miles up the road from where I was staying in Mercia, Spain. There was one particular villa/building which was very different in design to the rest of the complex. The downstairs of this particular villa was full of 'death' - A deceased dog and several birds. The whole building had a very eerie feeling which was not experienced in any other building. My digital camera also struggled to take a clear picture in the upstairs of this particular building. Many of them were extremely 'warped' and I foolishly discarded them immediately to retake. One of the warped photos I didn't delete is the first pic below.

Anyway, I have no background information on this place and no research was done on it. I only wish I took more photos. I guess I was too busy swatting the flies away and dealing with overheating!! That and lowering my uncle down a hole with a make shift rope to get into an underground chamber we could see. - it turned out to be some sort of mini basement used to store files and cleaning equipment. Nothing exciting at all.

.........I got a mate lives near a place called Fuente Alamo..not that far from Murcia.....not a bad area ...very 'campo' but generally better than the awful 'tourist-ville Blackpool on the Med' Spain........:)
