This set of flats have been a land mark for those living in This end of derby....Not necessarily a good landmark and to be honest i`m not sure many will miss them...

They are all empty now and demolition has started on them...i`m sure before the end of Feb they will be all down...

There will be a meeting here on 25 February 2008, at 6.00pm, for local residents to look into the details and plans for the site.

I can`t find now when they were biult but it was a good while ago...

A few views from the top windows of the top flats...

I`ve never seen concrete like this in my life... it`s as though they have no sand in it as you can see all the agragate and only a very little grout...I can`t imagine how they managed to pour this but all the walls were made like this.

Here`s a view of one of the blocks of flats...there are 5 of these.. the one you see with the orange telephone ariels on might have to stand untill 2011 as they have a lease to mount that stuff there till then.
