A quick post from me this time, found this by accident today as I wasn't looking for it and didn't know it was there. It is in a bad state with the hatch cover and vents missing and at some point someone has tried to nick the ladder. I didn't get inside because the ladder isn't fixed in place and the bottom of the shaft is full of rubbish. Having looked on subbrit http://www.subbrit.org.uk/cgi-bin/w...unction=Search&County=Durham&cgifunction=form the post has been burnt out with only 2 chairs and the shelf remaining. This is a 1991 closure not '92 as the title suggests. Anyway on with the pics
