So i found myself in the lake district, a frequent reader but not done any exploration as of yet. While i was sat indoors in the rain looking for places of interest to visit i came across a list of all the ROC posts and found there to be one not that far out that has not been visited by any of your current explorers. Subbrit has this post as locked last checked in 2000. After tracking down the farmer that owns the field the post sits in and getting his permision to troop over it (as the post is in the middle of the field) It would seem that in the past 12 years someone has forced the locks as i found them rusted open.
Subbrit report on the post from 2000 can be found here.

The post is a 65 construction, closed in 91.
The hatch is badly rusted and is on at an angle, held down with some bricks. The counterweight is still intact and moves with a little force. All Surface features remain intact as far as i can tell, the paint has mostly flaked from the access hatch but the detector, vent and pneumatic antenna are all still in good condition.
UPDATE
I got a call from the farmer, he has locked the post up with new locks and has posted me the keys, not sure where that leaves things legally but he was very helpful about the whole thing, I showed him the photos when I was done. He has also covers the hatch up with tarp to make sure it won't flood. So seems it will be safe for a while yet.

The post itself is remarkably well preserved given that there is only a small gap open to the air there has been very little water accumulated. The sump is full but that is the extent of the standing water. The Pump has rusted solid and will not move. Over time the post will likely continue to fill until its fully submerged unless someone can get the hatch back on square, we gave it all we could but we were unable to get it back as it should be but we did get a better seal than it had when we arrived.
I apologise for the quality of the images i did not have a camera to hand so these are all shot from a phone.

I hope you all think i did ok for my first exploration, i will try and go back with a better camera at some point to get some more detailed images. I will also be looking at other posts in my area now that i have done one i feel that i can do more.
The rest of the images are all here
