    Default Sutton Basset ROC Post

Quite a good post this one, locked and generally in good nick. Also has the aircraft observation post alongside. Also you can see what looks like an area where they dumped all their junk, the old hatch, toilet seat, old bottles and various other bits in there.

    Lots of glitto!

    Interior, note the bunk beds

The old hatch on the edge of the junk pile

Also in the trees just next to the post was a tiny cottage type building, one room appearing to be a living room, and another a bedroom perhaps. Wondered if it was possibly to do with an older waterworks on the site, but it looks like someone might have actually lived here...

Cheers mate. Didn't see any glow sticks, but didn't spend too long looking round the inside really!

Very nice to see one in good condition like this one is, and the cleaning stuff with it too lol. Like seeing the observation post next door, and love that old green fireplace/cooker thingy. thats very nice.

    Cheers,

    :) Sal

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
