This is an intresting post in that is does not appear on my magic secret master map and we only found it on the chance that one of the local tourist maps has the tinyest reference ever to it.

So....after my expert map reading skills (it was the maps fault really, it was upside down with inadiquate labeling, no really it was) we were trudging about about a mile in the wrong direction.

Buster got excited several times, mistaking a rabit hutch for an orlit and then both of up saw what looked like a vent shaft ...Yay we've fo...its was a bench.... (yes this really did happen). Going back to the tourist map we worked out the correct direction and jumped in the car.

Aftersome critism of my map reading skills we encountered some of the biggest speed bumps ever and couden't get the car over them. Proceeding on foot we found the post.

Hatch missing and not much left inside.

After our visit we hunted down the nearby sound mirror....not much to see there. But we also found a hidden gun emplacement and pillbox tunnel.

This tunnel went down about 10 ft after the entry and was flooded.

nice one, as you say its not on the usual lists I ran out of time to do it last time i was up that way. the gun emplacement and tunnel you found is (apparently) called Murrays Post, that tunnel (apparently) leads out to the Godwin Battery (on the beach just incase you missed it), but as you say, its flooded :(.

your map reading skills were poor to say the least ;)
no mate was a good day out enjoyed my self
