Where's the folly?

This report falls into the random and weird category of finds. I was working in an area I have not been to for a while and had finished work. I was sitting in the car having a sandwich and looking at the OS map, when somthing caught my eye. It was in the middle of some woods and marked on the map as a folly, and only 2 miles from where I was. Time for an explore! I was hoping to find a classic unexpected folly (see my post 'Hobbit House in the Cotswlds' ), but found something very different.


This is the first thing I came across, a covered swimming pool, it the middle of the woods??Weird!



I think these are old holiday cottages.

Sports hall.
I neverdid find a folly, only these holiday cottages. The site looks as if it is still cared for, and someone may be living there part time, so after a quick explore time to leave, taking nothing but photos and leaving nothing but footprints.
