    Default Forgotten but not gone

This is the second location of my recent road trip, I was going to give this title to the floral dress house but I borrowed from Red Dress Manor instead :) I use this as my signature too as it describes most of the places we find.
Some of the pictures were a bit hurried as while I was inside the house, I heard the closing of van doors and voices. After I got back to the car I realised that in my usual absent mindedness, I hadn't noticed the building of a large Grand Designs style wood and glass building next to here. I did consider going back in but didn't want to risk being confronted by Kevin McCloud and a squad of builders.
Not too much here but some bits and bobs and interesting decor so I hope its worth posting.

Perhaps it's one of those - 'No street lighting between 12 o'clock and 5.30 am' areas so beloved by West Yorks. At least one could get a nice uninterrupted midnight view before retiring!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
