Default Gate house and horticultural row

visitee these two sites as they are just a few miles apart..the first was this gate house that belonged to a Manor House, not very big,but very nice, shame it was filled with rubbish.the second place was this big block.not really sure what it was.a very strange place and a lot of it was sealed tight, did get in some bits,I think it was used for horticulture once as there was a fair few tools in there and bits of machinery, there was several dilapidated greenhouses next to it.also found some old brick gate posts hidden up and overgrown to the rear of the building.or the front maybe as it may have been.

    The horticultural block

Fab set. Really like the desaturated processing in your photos. Splendid job.

Erm, wow! You don't half find some interesting places. Love the Gothic windows on the gate house. Ace pix as usual.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
