This is the last of four derelict locations bundled together.
This was the farmhouse that Gerald lived in before he died in the hospital in 2014. The full-time occupants at this place are only cats so I decided to do a report here. The place is starting to rot away slowly with Gerald's possessions being swallowed by nature. The cottage it's self is locked but I wouldn't have a look anyway because it's too recent to be abandoned.
Gerald lived here with his wife Janet who died last July in a home and his two daughters. He lived there since the late 40's, after the airfield was taken out of use. One of the daughters visits it occasionally to feed the cats and make sure nothing gets vandalised. The name of the place is Poplar Tree farm. It is falling apart and there is loads of hoardings through the windows.
I hope this place gets saved in the near future as it really is a lovely house, despite it's sad history.

Gerald's last tractor. He couldn't afford to get it fixed so his solution was to force his wife and daughters to throw boiling hot water over it to get it to work. This happened in the middle of the night so he couldn't be seen.
