While heading elsewhere myself, Landie Man and jo spotted this place in a field by the side of the road and after some misadventures in finding somewhere to park we opted for the 'drive right down the track in front of it and park by a dyke' method (not the female kind!)

I initially thought I recognised the house as somewhere else I had seen before but as we walked up to it I got less and less certain and eventually realised it wasn't what I thought it was. But no bother, it still had enough things inside to make it interesting. It looked like nobody had been into the house for quite some time as there was a literal forest of tall nettles and brambles around the entire house and a large bush growing through the access point which made even getting near to it a challenge.

Here are some photos. Not my usual thing but I preferred this one to the other house we did on the same day.

Nice photography here. I also like the Bush radiogram as well. Oh, and there is a letter "I" in the word prairie. Thanks for posting this - interesting but shame about the state of the house.
