The old Forge, September 2015

I was exploring a couple of villages near me on my bike and then out of nowhere, came across this place, I knew what it was so I stopped and pulled the camera out.

Here we have is the old Forge which has been visited by several different members over the last few years, unfortunately, some idiot has stolen the wheel barrow and used it as a shelter, despite there one being opposite. This is quite a nice little place, no coal smell but there's an old privy at the back which has rotted away. I can't gather much information for it but it may have been abandoned in the late 60's.

Thanks, Funniest thing happened though, I stopped by two semi derelict cottages on that trip to quickly find a large white cockerel had jumped on my bike and then he was following me up the road.

Three times I have been here..sadly the barrow had gone between my second and third.nice report there dauntless
