The Burnt Pickleman's Cottage, October 2015

I stumbled across this place by accident.

I soon recognized the house so I got out and took a look around what's left. Sadly I couldn't find the pickles so they may not be there anymore... but there are a few nice features remaining which are untouched by the magpies and fire.

I didn't have my torch with me at the time so I had to rely on camera flash to see where I was going.

I know, these people really do anger me, especially with the war hat incident... Chances are I could have missed them but they have been stolen before and left outside.

That's superb work in difficult like Dauntless...great set!

Picture 5 looks like the pantry.. If you walk to the end of the room and look around the corner the pickles were kept on shelving above a fridge. Maybe you just didn't spot them - it is very dark in there! Great photos Dauntless I didn't spot the mangle on my visit. I recently purchased one at a carboot that looks similar to this just for show really but it works wonders for drying my chamois leathers when I'm cleaning the car lol!

Ah yes, I've also got a mangle like that! Thanks for the advice, I didn't see there was more in the pantry.. I could only rely on taking photos of the floor and in the rooms to watch where I was going. I nearly got my foot in the floor at one point.
