Default Waterlogged Farm Buildings - March 2016

After taking another 20 mile trip on the bike, to visit a few more derelict houses, which were all sealed up tight once again. I stumbled upon an old gate, overgrown track and then two old buildings, I decided to take a look and found this place, not as exciting as I would have hoped, but it beats looking around the outside of an old house and soon learning that there's no entry.

The ground is very well saturated, you couldn't see the water half of the time. No clue on the history of the buildings but its obvious a few youths have found the place and left a few things behind, one of the items being a birthday card with a picture of a baby on it. I took 100 photos in here, trying to experiment with getting better shots. So that's why I decided to post this location on here, not the General Urbex Thread, just more of an experimental visit for my camera than a place which is real good.

Quite pleased with the photos of this place.

Someone has been trying to do wiccan rituals in here.

Lovely old scythe too, would probably sharpen up nicely.

I had to look that up to even know what it meant lol - but the star with the funny symbols did make me think it was some sort of pagan - druid type thing.

Looked like you picked a beautiful day to go exploring even thou it was drenching wet on the ground.
On the 7th picture is that a some sort of pagan ritual chalked in to the floor.
    Thanks for sharing

Yes, it's a very badly drawn pentagram, which makes me think it's kids playing around.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
