Pheasant Cottage - March 2016

Been back out recently and the first place I found, I stumbled upon in the woods.

Uncertain when this little cottage was abandoned, it could have been in the mid 1960's. There is evidence of electricity in the kitchen. Nice to see this place is untouched by all magpies and youths. It's now used to house birds in the night. Upstairs is empty and a bit dingy. The moment I got inside, my camera batteries died, got the spare ones, and they only took 10 seconds... So, this is just another phone interior report.

A fairly good find, but nothing compared to what I soon found afterwards...

Nice report looks great.

Looks like it used to be a charming cottage at one time. I assume you charged your batteries before you entered the house? Then how come your batteries died on you as soon as you entered the house? Strange.

They were in the charged bag, so I assumed they would be charged, bit weird but no problem, I brought some more within half an hour of visiting here.

My camera uses 4 AA batteries. I took 8 with me, incase the first set didn't work.
